This story is the one of Guilhem, born around 1260 in Saint Félix de Caraman (Languedoc) in Middle Age. The place is now called Saint Félix de Lauragais (Haute-Garonne).
His destiny reached a peak at Philip the Fair time (1285 - 1314). He lost his grandparents during the crusade of Northern France against Albigenses, also called "Cathars" (problably from the Greek "Katharos", pure)...who died around 1240 as it seems.
His grandfather's name was Raymond, but it's not known if his female-companion, Arnaude Trobada was his grandmother, as Cathars were against marriage considered as a selling - and not a sacrament at all. One thing sure, his grandparents were protected by small lords of Languedoc. And they were not burnt alive.
No, the problem arose after, through a posthumous trial made to them, leading to confiscation of the family goods and the loss of the noble title of the family.
Guilhem who had to follow his parents to Montpellier, had never forgotten the infamy accomplished by priests with the burning of his grandparents' coffins, and this public humiliation which was impossible to connect to the real God. And he swore to make them pay heavily one day !
Fleeing away to another town, for the sake of one's life and reputation, and not being anymore considered as the heir of heretics, was certainly an awful experience. He hated the Roman Papacy which was responsible of this in his eyes.
Almost everybody nowadays has forgotten the Crusade against Cathars (1209 - 1244, plus the epilogue of 1255 for Toulouse), initiated by the Pope and lead at the beginning by the obscure baron Simon de Montfort (c. 1150 - 1218), who was carrying a cross similar to the Templars' one.
As a matter of fact the French King Philip II (1165 - 1223) refused the Pope Innocent III (1198 - 1216) to participate it in 1209, and strongly advised high nobles not to participate either : he didn't want to associate the type of massacres and tortures he saw in Palestine in the badly used name of God, for nothing except greed behind Innocent III's propaganda for a "universal and christian republic" covered with blood.
Guilhem was seeing the Church of Roma as representing the bad principle (the Devil), and opposing the good one (God in the dualist religion of Cathars). We musn't forget he was the descendant of "Parfaits" (Perfects), which means his grandparents received the only and ultimate sacrament of Cathar religion through the without water ceremony of "Consolamentum". Cathars were knowing solidarity, and behaving freely and equally through the philosophy of "paratge", which was announcing already our modern principles of "freedom, equality and fraternity".
It is very difficult to know all the details of Cathars' beliefs, as a lot of documents have been burnt by the Inquisition, which officially started to operate in Toulouse from 1233.
What is remaining was kept secret in Lyons, which is why it is called "the secret rule of Lyons". We know they were recognizing only one christian gospel, the Gospel of Saint John.
Usually, this religion which didn't entirely disappear through ages, was seen as manichean, and connected with the "bogomiles" of Bosnia. Some parallels have been established also with the Iranian cult of the prophet Zarathustra (c. 1000 BC ?), who invented the conceptions we have about paradise and hell. Zarathustra was opposing the good God Ormuzd to the bad one Ahriman. Zarathustra promised he would come back after his death twice, with a periodicity of 1000 years every time.
About Templars, Guilhem's personal hatred is still puzzling nowadays, especially if you take on account the "Moderns" putting Cathars and Templars in the same basket for their Gnostic beliefs, and the way they were both revering the Gospel of Saint John. They even add that Templars stayed rather neutral in the crusade against Cathars. As the Kingdom of Aragon, on the Cathar side was a templar state, the attitude of the French templars refusing to help them or protect them shocked a lot Cathars. Their neutrality wasn't interpreted in a good way at all. Yet, on the field, it is known French Templars sometimes very discretely (not to be accused of heresy) sheltered Cathars in a charitable way. It musn't have been the case in Saint Félix de Caraman apparently, considering the attitude of Guilhem.
Above that, the "Moderns" are forgetting a bit quickly that Cathars were non-violent vegetarians (which is explaining their defeat, yet not so easily acquired), when Templars were at the opposite rough soldiers and eaters of meat. And about Guilhem, it is obvious that he connected them directly to Papacy as monks-soldiers (which they were officially as the Militia of Christ).
By an extraordinary chance, this boy had the possibility to study law, becoming even professor in Montpellier (Languedoc). His luck was that lawyers were getting a rising importance in the kingdom of the new King Philip IV.
Usually, his connection with this King is situated in 1293. But he became his adviser ("Conseiller") in 1295, precisely the year Philip the Fair decided to tax priests in the kingdom (with the "décime", 1/10th).
Guilhem, who might have discretely initiated the idea to help the weak finance of the King, was absolutely delighted.
The priests grumbled but they obeyed. So several years after, in 1300, the King upon the advice of Guilhem decided to tax the bishops too (with the "cinquantième", 1/50th), but they wanted to complain to the Pope.
There occurred the famous betrayal of Bernard Saisset (c.1232 - 1314), bishop of Pamiers, who was arrested in 1301 for plotting a rebellion in the ex-Cathar area against the French King. Our character wasn't the last one to encourage Philip the Fair to be hard against Catholic bishops (especially the ones of his birth area) and Papacy.
Of course, Guilhem had to hide his ancestry not to be discovered. But strangely he did it without much problems. Or Philip the Fair didn't care as he was opposing Papacy ! Anyhow, even nowadays, his Cathar lineage is only known from some historians and kept as a taboo. They just point out from far usually this anedoctic anomaly, without going to the full and logic conclusion implied.
We bet you are still hesitating about the name of our famous character, because of the Cathar's inheritage involvement. So it is time to unleash this mystery : our character of the day lead the troops Philip IV sent near Rome to Anagni (Italy) in 1303, to capture the Pope Bonifacius VIII (1294 - 1303), in order to make him judge for heresy by a general concile in Lyons (France).
He is even famous for having slammed the face of the Pope, when this one accused him to be the Grandson of "Patarins" (a nickname given to Cathars), and to represent a kingdom of "Patarins" with fake catholics !
It has been written after, it was in a fact an Italian noble of the troop called Sciarra Colonna who did it with his iron glove. But in the first original version, it was clearly Guillaume (Guilhem) de Nogaret !
And the Pope who was freed by the angry population of Anagni on September 9th, 1303, just one day after the Pope's attempt of arrest by Nogaret, died one month after, not without having excommunicated Nogaret and Colonna.
As an adviser of Philip the Fair (in fact, he even became his Minister of Justice from September 1307), it is also him who proudly set all the details of the Templars' arrest on the black Friday of October 13th, 1307, which lead to the disappearance of the Temple.
They were charged with three main accusations : to spit on the holy cross, to be sodomites, and to worship an idol in the shape of a cat or something unknown called "Baphomet".
Philip the Fair wasn't very keen of the third one, because he thought "Baphomet" was a facsimile of Saint John's head, so in fact just a religious relic. In a way, he felt right as Nogaret's personal revenge was made in memory of Saint John !
Therefore Guillaume de Nogaret, the hidden heir of Cathars, took revenge on Papacy. And he made a lot of Templars being tortured to know more about "the idol called Baphomet". Above that he oriented a lot of pieces of their trial on the adoration of the Devil. Let's not forget, in his mind they were serving the throne of the bad God, as monks-soldiers of the Pope !
So, for him Papacy and Templars were exactly standing on the same side in his revenge. And Guillaume de Nogaret has never been possibly touched by the so-called malediction of Jacques de Molay (c. 1244 - 1314), the last Great Master of Templars on March 18th,1314, when this one was burnt alive with several companions in Paris, ...because he was dead since april 11th, 1313 !
Nogaret might have been known about the famous secret of Cathars, and the Lombrives cave's subterranean village. He made minute enquiries about different areas in France as adviser of the King. Lombrives is the biggest natural cave of all Europe.
And when a child, he might have heard also about the semi-legend of Queen "Pyrenee" who lies in her tomb underground over there.
The incredible origin of this Queen who gave her name to Pyrenees, will certainly deserve one day, a special study.
The last "Perfect" to be burnt alive in France was Guilhem Belibaste (1280 -1321), in the castle of Villerouge-Termenès. He had been betrayed by a double agent of Inquisition called Arnaud Sicre.
On August 24th, 1321, Belibaste made a very strange prophecy : before dying he announced that "by 700 years, the laurel will re-grow green in Languedoc and in the kingdom of France !"
So at a time Papacy made excuses for the period of Inquisition and wants to stick more to Jesus words, some people are waiting for 2021 to know what he meant exactly ?

Buddha didn't say everything : what's up with the "Paradise of lapis-lazuli" ?

The real object of Buddha (the Indian Prince Shakyamuni) has never been reincarnation, and its often illogical laws. Himself lost disciples several times when asked if he believed in reincarnation : he took every time a long moment to answer that...he didn't know !
And this is very famous in the Chan school of buddhism of China (which became Zen buddhism in Japan).
In his time (VIth century BC), his aim was to reach the step of Samadhi (Awakening). By becoming a buddha, so an awakened being, he was reaching Nirvana.
This is known through his cousin Ananda, who was able to recite all what he said under the form of sutras. But Ananda couldn't really say what was the next step.
The state of Budha has got something to see with the "Paradise of Lapis-Lazuli".
This paradise is also called "the Western Paradise", and is rooted in a very old Asian belief - an antediluvian one.
For Antic Chinese people, this belief was directly connected to the Sky. And their emperors as sons of the Sky knew obviously about this secret.
In fact, the "Western Paradise" is populated of millions of buddhas, living happily overthere after their earthling death.
Anyhow, Shakyamuni as Buddha himself wanted more than just finding a way to escape the fateful human sufferings, usually explained with an unverifiable reincarnation.
Buddha never really described fully the radiant country of lapis-lazuli, called the "Western Paradise".
He just said you have to recite a word (a name) starting with "Am..." to go to this marvelous place. Amithaba is often quoted to help this awakening through the use of your sixth sense, if you have got one. But there is a more ancient one starting the same way which is extremely powerful if you have got seven senses. Another easier way is to take the hand of someone owning seven senses, and letting him/her leading you overthere, of course. But you have to find him/her then !
What is known about this fairy place is that it is full of very special trees, "gem-trees" !
It is the land your wildest dreams can become true almost instantly.
The existence of this curious idyllic land with marvelous beings and creatures was narrated before, in the antediluvian time.
It has to be known that the "Paradise of lapis-lazuli" is definitely forbidden to people who are full of pettiness and delighted with banter or tricky malevolence. To be saved spiritually, you need to be "saveable" !
Be careful, because the real length of a human life is just equivalent of a few minutes in a godly unit of time, even it seems long or sometimes very long on Earth !
Jesus knew that also, when he attracted the attention of people on divine redemption in the realm of the Sky, which wasn't really the one Saint Paul revised after his crucifixion, his resurrection and his ascension, by modifying his words.
To enter the "Western Paradise" is both easy for sincere and goodhearted people, and impossible to others who are untrue with very hypocritical attitudes or manipulative and too dogmatic morals.
It is a place where eternal youth is granted. Beauty, love and fulfilment are reigning harmoniously in this place.
Haven't you noticed at the opposite around you the number of people who are aging very quickly, sometimes far too quickly for their age ? Having a few white hair and wrinkles when you are 19 is not very normal, for instance. A too dry skin also is not either a very good sign, even you are a bit older.
Beside the need of an aesthetician, cleaning their dust, and reciting holy chants calling for the divine help of "Nam" or "Nammu", some people have deep down to change their mind and their heart. A lot of them never noticed even, that "Nammu" is a Goddess name and not an interjection.
Whatever they might be reincarnated in an animal in fact and not automatically in a human being through the soul transmigration theory, the "Paradise of lapis-lazuli" is far to be easily opened.
If you can reach it, it means on the contrary this puzzling question of reincarnation is henceforth irrelevant !

Just science-fiction VIII ? A mild temperature for a new Earth and a new Atlantis ?

At the moment in the South West of France, in Biarritz particularly, the weather is exceptionaly fine for the season (around 17-20°C). So everybody can enjoy it, even surfers, as if they were in the Southern hemisphere of the Globe ! And this mild temperature which will affect in fact all Western Europe till the end of 2015 at least - with an average of + 3°C or even more -, is also observable in Eastern Europe - as far as Moscow where flowers are blooming like in spring ! Ski resorts are desperately waiting for snow during winter holidays !
The specialists of meteo absolutely don't know what's happening, but they think it might not have anything to do with the "Earth heating" or an excess of carbonic emission. Of course, the Carbon print theory is rather a "Green Business" ideology, than a definitive explanation. Ironically, COP 21 just established a world agreement deciding boldly, a few days before, that the average of Earth temperature increasing musn't exceed 1.5 ° C by the end of the XXIst century. And in that case, even France has difficulty following its new rule of Le Bourget, because of a very capricious weather. But can it, at the beginning of the XXIst century ? Earth is a very powerful planet which own life is not up to human beings will, and God (or even Gods) can be so facetious sometimes, by joking with human beings just for fun !
Something different could be at work. And it is concerning first the Atlantic Ocean and the new way the Anticyclon of Azores (Portugal) is working : this could be able to modify the Gulf Stream process as well, but not only... We don't know if it has to see with the subduction of Earth, and the reactivation of Atlantis plate in the Atlantic Ocean. But amazing things may happen if it was. The partial resurfacing of a disappeared continent is always something unexpected and unbelievable. Let's recall the weather of the idyllic Atlantis of Golden Age, was known to be exceptionaly mild in winter !
We would be more coming back to the legend of the giant Atlas himself in that case. People have forgotten this character of Greek mythology, who was the first King of Atlantis, but Zeus, Poseido and Athena haven't about them !
The six main whirlpools of Earth should then be checked by scientists just in case, to see if a change is not affecting them : Skookumchuk offshore of British Columbia near Vancouver (Canada), the Old Sow whirlpool (Canada also), the Corryvreckan one in Scotland (UK), the Maelström one in the North-West of Norway, the Garofalo one in the straight of Messina separating Sicily from Italy, and the Naruto one in between Shikoku island and Awaji island (Japan) which is the furthest.
The three first whirlpools are not very famous in France, but the three other ones are more known.
About the Garofalo one, it is famous since the time of Homer (circa 850 BC), who wrote "The Odyssey" of Ulysses and his companions after the war of Troy.
The Maëlstrom one (Mosktraumen), between the islands of Moskenoya and Mosken in Norway, is operating four times a day. Jules Verne (1828 - 1905), the fantastic writer of Amiens - Picardie, France - made it famous in his novel untitled "Twenty thousand leagues below the seas" : the "Nautilus" submarine of Captain Nemo justly sank overthere !
And the Naruto Whirlpool with its colossal amounts of water carried four times a day at a high speed, is also known as "the devil's Whirpool" : it is located in a straight passage establishing a communication between the Sea of Japan and the Pacific Ocean.
Curiously, the "Devil's triangle" of the Pacific Ocean situated below, is making an echo to the Bermuda triangle of the Atlantic Ocean. There also, a lot of unexplained things are happening.
Astonishingly, since 1985 the discovery of an engulfed city - also called "submarine structure" by a timid science - in the very South of Japan archipelago has sometimes been connected to Atlantis : in fact, Yonaguni sank city (Ryu-Kyu islands, Okinawa prefecture) was not "Poseidonia", the capital of Atlantis, but a Far East establishment of this superpower. Anyhow, finding such remains is something noticeable enough to be underlined.
In contemporary times, it's the American seer Edgar Cayce (1877 - 1945), who talked the most about the partial resurfacing of Atlantis in the Atlantic Ocean. And as he quoted in his famous readings before, it reappeared in 1968 in Bimini (Bahamas), not so far from the coasts of Florida. A "structure" of 570 m long with a "J" shape made of cyclopean big stones, and around 12 000 years old, has been clearly identified. Equally, he warned this resurfacing wouldn't happen at once, but in several times, especially about its capital situated further North-East !
In Azores, the Atlantis plate was between 120 m and 270 m below the Atlantic Ocean. So it would be interesting to know if it lifted up very recently, and to measure the magnetic field in order to know if it has been modified. Because it is obvious something has already changed about the Anticyclon of Azores (a high pressure area indicated by a big A on meteo maps), and the way it is operating with the Gulf of Gascony and the depressionary area of Western Europe (a low pressure area indicated with a big D on meteo maps).
By comparison what was discovered 30 m below Yonaguni island in 1985, is amazing. What is called the "structure", surrounded by traces of probable roads, is in fact a pyramid dated from around 12 000 years ago, in the shape of a Sumerian one (a ziggurat). And on Okinawa island, a very old tablet has also been found showing clearly this pyramid with two telescopic masts or aerials on the top !
So, what is waiting around and below Azores islands in the Atlantic Ocean - deriving its name from King Atlas - could be really thrilling.
Then, people who are aware of their surroundings, without being too much self-centered, or without having a group selfishness, may be able to perceive unprecedent changes in a good way for Christmas and after !

Reestablishing harmony : a time for "Systema" ?

Living in harmony and peace is very important for human civilization. And none of those concepts can be considered as empty or hollow words.
Even wild animals like tigers or lions, whatever they are males or females, don't behave at all like mad creatures.
In that way, "Systema" (which just means System...of combat) can be a help to restore simply harmony and peace where it has disappeared.
Systema is the very special martial art of Russian Special Forces ("Spetsnaz"), maintained secret till recently.
Its origin is not as recent as people may think. In fact, it can be traced in Middle Age (Xth century), under the form of Sambo (comprehensive Russian Wrestling). It was perfected after the fights against Sweden, Teutonic knights or Mongols.
It was forbidden in 1917 by the Bolcheviks, at the same time as the Orthodox monasteries were warriors were training. Only the agents of NKVD, ancestor of KGB, were discretely allowed to still use it at first.
The surprise of this secret martial art was thus total at the time of President Boris Yeltsin (b.1931 - d.2007), in the nineties, when it started then to be a little bit known abroad.
The way it is taught by its two modern (re-)founders, Mikhaïl Ryabko and Vladimir Vasiliev, and its third great master Konstantin Komarov, is quite interesting. The three of them have got a background of operational officers of Spetsnaz units, and a recognized excellence in their field.
The catchwords of Global Systema are "freedom, benevolence and humility".
It is operating like a strong and flexible skeleton on which you can connect various technics, like Aïkido or Jiu-Jitsu for example, but not only. Systema is a transforming martial art.
It is practised with casual clothes, the strikes are real (without gloves or protections) but not very violent to be adaptated to everyday life, and it has no belts. A different implemented breathing, used under a certain rythm ("4-4-4", or a bit more for instance) to fill lungs with air compressed, is one of the keys to abolish tensions. Again, movements may seem unusual and economical. And those paradoxes can give an amazing and unexpected sense of easiness and proficiency.
Above that, there is no limit to what it can be connected. And that's why the Chinese Special Forces more used to Wu Shu and especially Kung Fu, are now learning also Russian Systema.
Unusually, the epilog is to be written with various developments.
In that way, a new shape of things to come will install itself where needed.
Systema is a clever and silent method of martial arts, to operate now on the ground with a tie-down Rack and to hold stuffing, and it really deserves to be as known as the very popular Judo.
When Saint George, the patron of Russia (and England as well) was victorious of the Dragon, he achieved it alone, and yet he is remembered centuries after for this great exploit !

The way it is taught by its two modern (re-)founders, Mikhaïl Ryabko and Vladimir Vasiliev, and its third great master Konstantin Komarov, is quite interesting. The three of them have got a background of operational officers of Spetsnaz units, and a recognized excellence in their field.
The catchwords of Global Systema are "freedom, benevolence and humility".
It is operating like a strong and flexible skeleton on which you can connect various technics, like Aïkido or Jiu-Jitsu for example, but not only. Systema is a transforming martial art.
It is practised with casual clothes, the strikes are real (without gloves or protections) but not very violent to be adaptated to everyday life, and it has no belts. A different implemented breathing, used under a certain rythm ("4-4-4", or a bit more for instance) to fill lungs with air compressed, is one of the keys to abolish tensions. Again, movements may seem unusual and economical. And those paradoxes can give an amazing and unexpected sense of easiness and proficiency.
Above that, there is no limit to what it can be connected. And that's why the Chinese Special Forces more used to Wu Shu and especially Kung Fu, are now learning also Russian Systema.
Unusually, the epilog is to be written with various developments.
In that way, a new shape of things to come will install itself where needed.
Systema is a clever and silent method of martial arts, to operate now on the ground with a tie-down Rack and to hold stuffing, and it really deserves to be as known as the very popular Judo.
When Saint George, the patron of Russia (and England as well) was victorious of the Dragon, he achieved it alone, and yet he is remembered centuries after for this great exploit !

Just science-fiction VII : the intertwinning of Earth and Mars !

This new article of anticipation has obviously to be connected to the previous ones, as "Just science-fiction" is our mascot series. Here we are plunging still more deeply into fantastic realism.
The first mission "officially" inhabited to be launched by NASA onto Mars is planned for 2030.
We say officially because of the previous ones, which didn't happen officiously in 1962 and 1972, according to what should be known.
So Earthling beings never landed normally on the Red Planet, and no colony was established in the past from 1962. The intertwinning of Earth and Mars was just staying an original idea.
Again, the atmosphere of Mars is not at all liveable for human beings and no crops, and of course no town are existing presently on it. And obviously it is a "true" reality, even you start to scratch the thin orange film delicately stuck on the original pictures of Mars. If you can see finally life, both rural and urban like on Earth, it has to be a stupid error of parallax, of course ! Don't be silly, only the existence of water is now recognized !
In 1957, during the conference of Huntsville (Alabama, USA), three alternatives were defined for Earth future. With the first, nuclear devices had to be blasted in the stratosphere to create holes in order to evacuate heat and increasing pollution, while the second implied the building of a vast network of cities underground to conjure the world demographic explosion and rising pollution as well. The departure of Earth elite for Mars, with an impressive system for the selection of the persons to be saved, was called "Alternative 3" : it meant abandoning the old and quickly decaying planet Earth. And funnily, it never envisioned that people living on Mars were thinking to do exactly the opposite !
That's precisely what we are suggesting with the intertwinning of Earth and Mars.
So the year the Climate Change topic was launched worldwide (1957), getting along with a new promising science, Ecology, a crossed strategy started humorously. And some people of Earth might have already been unexpectedly surprised.
Coming back to the next mission to Mars, it is allowed to wander if there couldn't be a quicker way to go to Mars, than the future vessel "Orion" of "Mars-2030" : nine months to go if the astronauts are lucky enough due to the use of a Moon "push", and between two years and two years and half if they are still more lucky to come back.
As a matter of fact, the other way which is based upon the use of a kind of very secret mantra, may look too magical : just repeating a certain number of times "Oc Aurem Octe..." may seem effectively strange !
About that, you probably didn't notice we didn't write the full sentence. The reason is, we don't really know if it is so inefficient, or if at the opposite one can be actually teleported on Mars by accident without being prepared. As it could be a shocking experience, it's better to be careful, just in case... !
To conclude, another point to take into consideration very soon - in fact now -, with the recent events happening in the Galaxy, is the departure of the Greys from their Martian basis (among others) to Earth, to shelter from Procyon - Orion once again.
With more Greys settling on Earth very quickly, it is obvious that the intertwinning of Earth and Mars could be entering a very new phase. And the results of Cop 21 which has to be held near Paris, very soon also (November 30th - December 11th, 2015), might be of a great help.
Anyhow, the recent issue of Procyon (Orion) having an alliance with the USA, which got the green light about Mars, is certainly interesting. About it, it is quite amusing to realize the future Earthling rocket to reach and colonize "officially" Mars this time, is justly called "Orion" !
A message from Mars would take 12 minutes and half to reach Earth, and the same for an answer : so a simple exchange would need 25 minutes to a minimum and ...patience also. Only the above mantra "Oc Aurem Octe..." could be faster, and ....totally reversible as well with the right bracelet. Good heavens, one thing is sure : the future might not be boring at all for a fancy-free person !

Catalonia 2015-2017 : from regional elections to the unexpected revival of "Gota Lonna" !

The results of the regional elections in Catalonia on Sunday, September 27th, 2015, were overwhelming. It's important to know that in 2006, already, a large status of autonomy was recognized to Catalonia by Spain.
Before the ballot, the parties supporting the independence of Catalonia from Spain, attracted the world's attention on this opened will.
And now, they have to show how they are going to do to introduce a process of partition from Spain, which should last at least one year and half.
Catalonia is situated in the North East of Spain, and it has got more than 7.5 million inhabitants for 32 114 km2. Its capital is Barcelona (1.6 million inhabitants), and with 101.6 km2 it is around the size of Paris (105 km2).
When the count of Barcelona married the heiress of Aragon in 1137, Catalonia passed then to the the nascent kingdom of Aragon, which grew thereafter. So there is obviously the shadow weight of this Templar state reappearing on a diffuse way, which was bigger than the present generality of Spain.
Catalonia is situated in the North East of Spain, and it has got more than 7.5 million inhabitants for 32 114 km2. Its capital is Barcelona (1.6 million inhabitants), and with 101.6 km2 it is around the size of Paris (105 km2).

The wealth shift between Barcelona (Catalonia), and Madrid (the capital of Castile and Spain), happened already far before. But there was the world financial crisis of 2008 since.
Presently, Catalonia's wealth is mainly depending on industry and the mass tourism of Costa Brava.
But another important element to take on account is certainly the idea to be culturally different, because of a different language, Catalan, now again in use since the death of the Caudillo Francisco Franco (1892 - 1975), the Nationalist leader.

It is believed by the inhabitants of this area that it is coming from "Gota Lonna" (extended Gothia up to Barcelona), a deformation of "Gothlandia" and then "Gotia Longa". Gothia is based upon the name of Goths, from the Germanic tribes which took control of this mediterranean region between the end of Roman era and the very beginning of Middle Age. They have been admired for long in this area.
As a matter of fact, the area of Girona and Barcelona was integrated in a bigger land after 412, with the arrival of Wisigoths (Goths of the South). And till 801, it was a part of Septimania or Gothia (with Toulouse, Carcassonne and Narbonne). It was made upon the original "Gaule Narbonnaise" dating from the Romans. It seems the Goths didn't come alone in the South West of France, as some Sarmatians tiny colonies firstly established around Lyon, got along with them till Poitiers area and below also. This was due to a family secret about the hidden descendance of Alexander the Great (356 - 323 BC) in Gaul.
And the division of Gothia's marquisate (or Septimania) in two is dating back to 865 : the county of Narbonne was linked to France, and the county of Barcelona was bound to the marches of Spain, still pertaining to the Carolingian Kings. But the de facto independence of Barcelona from France occurred only in 988, when Capetian Kings replaced Carolingian ones : the count Borell II (947 - 993) didn't pay allegiance to the new French dynasty. It took time to be recognized de jure, but it was finally done on May 11, 1258 by the treaty of Corbeil between the French King Louis IX (1214 - 1270) and the King James Ist of Aragon (1208 - 1276).
Among this, the confuse irruption of "Femen" from Ukraine to France (and the world) since 2008, seems to be a rather funny coincidence...
Sarmatians were an hybrid people which emerged in 320 BC - at the time of Queen Minithya, King Spadines, and "Magog the Goth" as "referee" -, with the fusion of the not so legendary Amazons (which kingdom was covering the North of Anatolia, the South of Russia, and Ukraine) and the free Scythians. And Goths who started to settle in the Black Sea area around 180, overwhelmed them - on an original way - in the beginning of the IIIrd century. So, the Gothic history of Catalonia has indirectly something to see with an hidden mystery of history, which remained under the veil for so long till now.

Coming back to modern history, on October 6th, 1934, there was already a proclamation of total autonomy from Madrid by the president of the generality of Catalonia, Lluis Companys , and a general strike, but it failed five days after. However at the time, the point was the denounced fusion of all the Right wing parties through their participation to government, and not independence then.
This was less than two years before the civil war which bursted out between Republicans and Nationalists lead by General Franco (1936 - 1939).

There doesn't seem to be any revendication of Barcelona about the French side of Catalonia presently : the department of "Pyrénées Orientales", sometimes called "North Catalonia" yet, and the city of Perpignan. The reason is certainly the treaty of Pyreneas between France and Spain at the time of Louis XIV (1659), and may be also the fact the chain of Pyreneas is forming a natural border between France and Spain.
But the possible dislocation of Spain, could prepare a movement of territorial change in Western Europe, if it didn't stop. Some other areas may want to imitate this novelty, yet ancient.
Of course, that wouldn't really affect EU, as its main policy for the future is a policy of super-regions going over existing states.

Just science-fiction VI : Declaration of ETs and human Rights !

Just in a science-fiction point of view of course, the next summit of Le Bourget about Climate (COP 21), near Paris (France), may provoke an adaptation of Earth to change.
One of its main aim is to reduce by 40% the greenhouse gas emissions in the atmosphere in comparison with 1990, and this by only 2030.
This would make Earth more easily liveable for more intelligent beings.
After the summit "Paris Climate 2015" (November 30th - December 11th, 2015), it might be necessary to organize discretely the coming in number of ETs on Earth, mostly Greys. They are going to shelter on Earth, after abandoning to Procyon their basis of Venus (the one of seven Domes), Mars and the Moon. And Visitors of Procyon (Orion) would probably settle on our planet equally, to watch the Greys - and especially Rigelians, as Zetas are mostly considered as allies by now.
So then, to articulate peacefully the living on Earth, a declaration of common rights has to be ready to live in good intelligence, to try avoiding highly asymmetrical and dangerous confrontations or war. It would be a matter of exceptional wisdom, something unusual and extremely rare on Earth historically...
Let's remember the people of Procyon are the new leaders of the Galactic Federation, towards which Earth would extend then its eventual partnership !
In the galaxy, a lot of clever beings think most human beings are bestial, backward and unintelligent, which makes impossible to establish a clever and harmonious contact. But the Galactic Federation still think on the opposite, that contact is possible in certain ways. And on this point, Procyon and the Greys are agreeing.
A lot of human beings are basically boasters or posers, and the difference of gender has no influence on this. For instance, they don't take much into consideration their extremely high risk to disappear, just because a "Mega signal" would be sent electromagnetically to their very fragile "Cloud". In less than half a second, they may return anytime to Neandertal Age, but they don't mind !
And at the difference of Neandertal men, they are not prepared at all to that !
Anyhow, just in case they choose to be wise or are lead to be willy-nilly most likely, instead of following their predator instinct, a declaration of common rights can be envisioned.
So then, for the time being and to the present date, the declaration of ETs and Human Rights is the following :
" Article 1 : ETs and human beings are equal.
Article 2 : ETs are then granted the same rights as human beings on Earth, and particularly the freedom of speech and lead.
Article 3 : In the measure of possible their obligations are also equal, except some specificities (inborn, metabolic, environmental, spiritual,...), or the accomplishment of biological vital needs to reconstitute and regenerate, would impeach them or make them touched by caducity.
Article 4 : Inter-marriages are allowed if the species are biologically very proximate and compatible, in a way to enrich each other of their difference, and to produce children benefitting from both qualities.
Article 5 : Love and affection are the predominant bases of inter-marriages in order to make them mutually fulfilling and harmonious, and to maintain lasting bonds.
Individuals of both origins are automatically recognized and guaranteed the right to have a normal family life, in all its understated aspects of civil and patrimonial rights with a putative effect.
Article 6 : ETs are granted full access to the human social systems with a working right, and benefits in the Earthling country they are living.
Vice versa, human beings are granted the equivalent in the ETs social systems, and then can also obtain the same benefits from them by reflexivity.
Article 7 : Dual citizenship with full political rights at the age of majority (18) is allowed, to facilitate inter-connection and free move between the civilizations involved.
Article 8 : ETs are recognizing the Universal Declaration of Human Rights of December 10th, 1948 (General Assembly of UNO in Paris), and the European Convention on Human Rights of November 4th, 1950 signed in Rome, and by equivalence Earth is recognizing the Principles of Peace and Harmony Maintenance in the Galaxy.
Article 9 : All the rights recognized to human beings by the above Declaration and Convention mentioned in Article 8, are applying equally and automatically, as natural and positive rights to ETs as for Earth.
Article 10 : Children of both origins are entitled to get a comprehensive and free education, in their double original cultures and wherever it is needed, in order to develop fully their original personality and talents.
Equally, the parents of those children are entitled to get a complete and free upgrade, wherever they choose to get it."
Those 10 articles can obviously be completed, according to necessities and further implementations.
They would suppose a certain flexibility in their enforcement, as it would mean mankind to be at the beginning of a new era, and of an incredible re-start marked by a post-Biblical importance.
It would mean then a full revolution for human mind.
And initially, this would be extremely disturbing, or at the opposite funny and even amusing for the ones ready to take it this way. But instead of an announced panic, a very tired mankind might find in this, a new breathing with renovated hopes and expectations. And an incredible enthusiasm might also get along a never seen dynamism on the "New Earth", with a new way to see Cosmos !
Life may appear as sparkling over suddenly, and so full of real magic ! Even Christian religion might benefit of this new creative universe, as it doesn't really contradict it.
And since August 2008 as we quoted before, Vatican recognized that ETs were accessible to the word of Jesus Christ. So everything is ready in a way, to enter the new change of era with a reasoned optimism.
A tremendous expansion of consciousness would obviously occur.
So then, people's mind would certainly have to be light, to adapt such a new world...yet in the same world.
And the elders might not be at all the last ones to agree, encourage, or support such a change - unexpectedly.

Article 5 : Love and affection are the predominant bases of inter-marriages in order to make them mutually fulfilling and harmonious, and to maintain lasting bonds.
Individuals of both origins are automatically recognized and guaranteed the right to have a normal family life, in all its understated aspects of civil and patrimonial rights with a putative effect.
Article 6 : ETs are granted full access to the human social systems with a working right, and benefits in the Earthling country they are living.
Vice versa, human beings are granted the equivalent in the ETs social systems, and then can also obtain the same benefits from them by reflexivity.
Article 7 : Dual citizenship with full political rights at the age of majority (18) is allowed, to facilitate inter-connection and free move between the civilizations involved.
Article 8 : ETs are recognizing the Universal Declaration of Human Rights of December 10th, 1948 (General Assembly of UNO in Paris), and the European Convention on Human Rights of November 4th, 1950 signed in Rome, and by equivalence Earth is recognizing the Principles of Peace and Harmony Maintenance in the Galaxy.
Article 9 : All the rights recognized to human beings by the above Declaration and Convention mentioned in Article 8, are applying equally and automatically, as natural and positive rights to ETs as for Earth.
Article 10 : Children of both origins are entitled to get a comprehensive and free education, in their double original cultures and wherever it is needed, in order to develop fully their original personality and talents.
Equally, the parents of those children are entitled to get a complete and free upgrade, wherever they choose to get it."
Those 10 articles can obviously be completed, according to necessities and further implementations.
They would suppose a certain flexibility in their enforcement, as it would mean mankind to be at the beginning of a new era, and of an incredible re-start marked by a post-Biblical importance.
It would mean then a full revolution for human mind.
And initially, this would be extremely disturbing, or at the opposite funny and even amusing for the ones ready to take it this way. But instead of an announced panic, a very tired mankind might find in this, a new breathing with renovated hopes and expectations. And an incredible enthusiasm might also get along a never seen dynamism on the "New Earth", with a new way to see Cosmos !
Life may appear as sparkling over suddenly, and so full of real magic ! Even Christian religion might benefit of this new creative universe, as it doesn't really contradict it.
And since August 2008 as we quoted before, Vatican recognized that ETs were accessible to the word of Jesus Christ. So everything is ready in a way, to enter the new change of era with a reasoned optimism.
A tremendous expansion of consciousness would obviously occur.
So then, people's mind would certainly have to be light, to adapt such a new world...yet in the same world.
And the elders might not be at all the last ones to agree, encourage, or support such a change - unexpectedly.
